The best of the story
When secondary characters you dont know that much come with and unexpected action or desicion. Those arcs of the story were the best sadly shorts but filled with suspense and a feeling of uneasy, like all detective like novels are supoused to bring, one of those (the maid part no spoilerino) made you think two times about the real murderer.
Characterrs
It was strange when everybody was in love with somebody and felt really forced, but that type of novel its really known to develop love stetic way stories. There were some intersting choices like the husband lover maid blackmailing the murder but in spite of 3 not that bad characters the rest were meh-.
Chapters
Personaly didnt like the way the chapters were stablished, it was kinda clunky, short and some times the main issue of them was a not story changing issue so there were more intersting things going on and they wanted to give you the bad calls, so sad.
Comparison
The love story telled in that book was pretty similar to romeo and juliet. Because there were two lovers that cant be together, for different reasons obviously but its a kinda ironic and neat way to see how those characters developed.
